Coach Brandon Kimbrell's journey in volleyball began at San Pasqual High School back in 2007. His passion for the sport led him to excel in club volleyball throughout his high school years. This dedication paved the way for him to play at the collegiate level, representing Belmont Abbey College in the NCAA in 2012-2016. Following his graduation, Coach Kimbrell returned to his roots and immersed himself in coaching, starting with private sessions and eventually coaching at a premier volleyball club. Recognizing the untapped potential in the Escondido area's boys volleyball scene, he took action by establishing a summer camp in 2022, which later evolved into the creation of Talon Volleyball Club. In 2023, Coach Kimbrell's commitment to fostering talent saw fruition as he launched a local boys team under Talon Volleyball Club, witnessing remarkable success in their inaugural season. Furthermore, his dedication extended to his alma mater high school, where he has played a pivotal role in rejuvenating the program and guiding it back to its former glory. With an unwavering passion for the sport and a drive to nurture talent, Coach Kimbrell continues to leave an indelible mark on the volleyball community.
